Xbox 360 Repairs
Overheating (RROD)
The most common problem with Xbox 360's that RROD are overheating problems that cause the motherboard to overheat and bend, the soldering that secures the GPU becomes weak causing the processor to become unstable rendering you a very expensive paperweight.
To fix this kind of issue it takes considerable time and effort to dissemble the system to its barebones and then modify the interior chassis to prevent the board from bending. The fixes performed here at boxMedia are permanent fixes that go beyond the 'X-Clamp' and bogus 'Towel Trick'.
It takes a great deal of care and experience to fix this fault and it is easy to damage the system all together if you have no experience.
As a rule of thumb I do encourage that you take care in placing the system, or any electrical equipment for that matter in a cool area, preferably a solid surface as opposed to a carpet and give the air vents good circulation to allow the heat to dissipate.
Important: On the rare occasion that a system can't be fixed then there will be no charge and a full refund minus return delivery.
